For me one of the most sexy and beautiful things on a woman is her back. So, I painted this, she initially was not in water. I was playing around and I made some strokes that looked like water, so I followed it through. I really do like the result. I was going to add more to the background, but thought it would draw away from her. I tried not to go crazy with my rendering. I wanted the painting to seem more loose. This is an older painting of mine, so, I have learned a lot since then, but I still think it is a successful painting. I started to rework it one point and found that going back and reworking a finished painting is often a bad idea.
